Press review template

Under the menu item “Press review template”, you can set the design of your press review PDF. You have the choice between a ready-made PMG design or creating your own design. Click on “Save” to be able to apply your settings to future press reviews.

For the standard PMG design and custom design

Title: Enter the title of the press review here. It appears on the first page of the press review PDF and can be a maximum of 200 characters long. With the “Show PDF title” button, you can create a preview. If you only want to change the title once, edit it directly in the press review under “Overview”.

Keywords: In the articles purchased through MediaMonitor, the keywords used are automatically highlighted in Press Review Manager as well. In the press review template is where you can set whether the keywords are highlighted with a yellow highlighter, underlined or marked as bold text. If you want to highlight additional words in your press review, you can find the settings for this under the “Highlighting” menu item.

PDF layout: You can have the articles in your PDF press review displayed in two or three columns per DIN A4 page, depending on your preference.

Metadata: Metadata is additional information about an article that is not directly related to the content of the article. It is displayed in the press review below an article. Media data includes information such as circulation and reach. All metadata also contains information about the word count, department, sections, etc. 

Space-saving layout: If you feel that your press review PDF has too many pages, activate the “Space-saving layout” option. Then a new article will start on the same page where the previous article ends. If this option is deactivated, each article will start on a new page. The rest of the last page of an article will remain empty. 

For your own design only

The “Own design” option gives you further control over the design of the front page of your press review.

Logo: Upload your organization's logo to display it on the front page. It can be placed on the left, centered, or on the right in the PDF.  

Background/logo: Here you can upload a PDF file you have designed to be used as the background for the front page. This allows you to tailor the design of the press review PDF even more closely to your corporate design.

Note: Please note that the “Custom design” option is not included in the “Light” product version.
